Pandora Taps Legendary Makeup Artist Dame Pat McGrath for High-Glamour 17-Piece Jewelry Capsule

NO BLENDING NEEDED: Pandora’s latest boldface collaborator knows all about applying the right touch of color and shine.

Influential British makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath has teamed with the Danish jewelry giant for a 17-piece capsule that leans into her runway-tested playbook, launching globally on Oct. 8. The collaboration brings together two distinct powerhouses in the global fashion and accessories market, marrying Pandora’s mass-market manufacturing and design expertise with the avant-garde, high-fashion sensibilities of one of the industry’s most celebrated creative forces.

“This collection is the result of two creative voices coming together around one powerful idea: color as a force for transformation,” Pandora creative directors Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli said in a joint statement, noting they had “pushed materials to create surfaces rich in depth and emotion.”

McGrath said that to her, “makeup and jewelry have always been the same art.”

“I adorn the body with color, light, crystal, glitter and pure pigment. Jewelry is that same instinct made eternal,” she continued. “With Pandora, the two arts I have always loved became a single language.”

Drawing directly from the beauty maven’s universe, the lineup will play on a palette of rich red, deep purple, sleek silver, and radiant gold—with plenty of sparkling crystals to boot—priced accessibly from $58 to $250. This price range aligns with Pandora’s traditional market positioning while introducing a fresh, collectible edge that will likely appeal to both jewelry enthusiasts and dedicated beauty consumers who follow McGrath’s work closely.

The design details of the capsule heavily reference McGrath’s signature aesthetic and studio motifs. Lip-shaped signet rings and charms hide ombré enamel hearts inside, offering a clever nod to the precision and hidden depths found in high-end cosmetics application. Meanwhile, crystal-embellished lipstick and beauty-tube dangles directly nod to McGrath’s studio staples, transforming the everyday tools of the makeup artist into wearable, precious objects.

Furthermore, medallions within the collection are etched with empowerment mantras associated with the artist, who is affectionately and widely known in the fashion industry simply as “Mother.” The pieces are intentionally designed to be layered on chains, hoops, and bracelets, allowing wearers to mix across metals and stack items in bold, tonal combinations that mimic the experimental layering techniques used backstage during fashion weeks.

The collaboration comes with a high-profile global campaign shot by London-based Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø. The visual campaign features a dynamic cast of models, including Ava Shipp, Chiharu Okunugi, Ali Dansky, and Alton Mason, further bridging the worlds of high-fashion editorial imagery and accessible consumer luxury.

This partnership highlights Pandora’s ongoing strategy of aligning itself with major cultural and creative tastemakers to drive relevance, cultural conversation, and innovative design directions. Over recent seasons, the brand has increasingly looked to external creative partnerships and pop-culture cross-overs to expand its design vocabulary and capture new consumer segments.

A prominent figure on the international fashion circuit, Dame Pat McGrath has spent decades shaping the visual language of modern runway shows. She has pioneered some of the most memorable and complex beauty looks in fashion history, including studded lips, gilded eyebrows, and the viral, ethereal porcelain-doll makeup seen at the Maison Margiela haute couture show in 2024.

McGrath launched her eponymous beauty brand, Pat McGrath Labs, in 2015, quickly establishing it as a critical and commercial success known for its ultra-pigmented formulations and luxurious packaging. In addition to guiding her own brand as chief creative officer, McGrath’s influence extends deeply into legacy luxury houses. She currently serves as Louis Vuitton’s creative director of cosmetics, a strategic role she has held since the historic French luxury house officially introduced the beauty and cosmetics category to its offerings in 2025.

By channeling her decades of backstage experience, artistic vision, and distinct color philosophy into Pandora’s accessible luxury ecosystem, McGrath’s new 17-piece capsule collection bridges the gap between temporary beauty statements and permanent wearable art, giving consumers around the world a new way to wear her signature touch of brilliance.
