When it comes to orchestrating a destination wedding that seamlessly blends high-fashion aesthetics with a vibrant, high-energy party atmosphere, every detail matters. For Emily and Corey, their recent celebration on the sun-drenched shores of the French Riviera achieved just that, combining European elegance with bold, contemporary design choices, an extensive culinary program, and a meticulously curated atmosphere that kept guests dancing well into the night.
From custom-crafted mixology menus to avant-garde floral arrangements inspired by French disco culture, the event stood out as a masterclass in modern wedding production. Brought to life through a collaborative team of international vendors, planners, and designers, the celebration successfully balanced sophisticated regional charm with personalized touches that reflected the couple’s distinct taste.
Food & Drink
Gastronomy played a central role in the evening’s festivities, ensuring that guests experienced a continuous flow of exceptional culinary offerings from the moment they arrived. Food was provided directly by the venue, beginning with a lively cocktail hour featuring a robust selection of delicious appetizers and thoughtfully curated charcuterie platters.
Following the cocktail hour, guests were seated for a customized five-course meal designed to showcase refined regional flavors. The menu progressed gracefully from delicate fish courses to a tender filet, moving onward through sophisticated tartes before concluding with an artfully arranged cheese course.
To complement the dining experience, the venue supplied an exceptional selection of fine wines. Meanwhile, the couple elevated the beverage program by hiring David and his talented team from Le Cocktail Nomade. Tasked with designing a bespoke cocktail menu for both the cocktail hour and the late-night dancing, the mixology team delivered an astonishing lineup of eleven specialty cocktails. Ranging from classic Pisco Sours to meticulously crafted Dirty Martinis, the extensive drink menu ensured there was a bespoke option for every palate, maintaining an atmosphere where food and drink flowed effortlessly throughout the entire evening.
Florals & Decor
Visual storytelling was a cornerstone of the celebration, driven by a distinct aesthetic vision that married the natural beauty of the destination with unexpected, modern touches. Florals were expertly executed by Puni Petals, a floral design studio based out of London. Drawing deep inspiration from the radiant landscapes of the French Riviera and the eclectic sounds of the French band L’Impératrice, the floral design was conceived around the concept of a ‘sunny disco day.’
To ensure the design language remained entirely fresh and distinct for the region, Chloe Alise Events took on the intricate task of sourcing and carrying custom linens all the way from the United States. In addition to the specialty textiles, all paper goods and specialized decor items were imported from select providers in the States. Chloe Alise shared the same artistic inspiration as the team at Puni Petals, leading to a deeply cohesive collaboration. Together, they transcended traditional floral design to shape the overall day-vision, treating the event planning process as a unified team effort rooted in creating a fun, stylish party environment.
Wedding Cake
The transition from dinner to the high-energy portion of the evening was marked by a striking culinary centerpiece. The wedding cake was custom-designed and created by Gladys at Les Delices. Having known early on in the planning process that she wanted a distinctively vintage-style aesthetic, Emily watched as Gladys brought that vision to life with remarkable precision.
The vintage-inspired creation served a dual purpose in the evening’s timeline. Not only did it delight guests with its taste and visual charm, but it also acted as the perfect catalyst to kick-start the opening of the dance floor. Furthermore, the cake cutting seamlessly transitioned into the deployment of an espresso martini tower, which quickly became a focal point that guests enjoyed for the remainder of the evening.
Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs
Music dictated the emotional rhythm of the day, shifting smoothly from romantic and serene to electric and upbeat. Ceremony music was provided by Vibes Music, who deployed two exceptional string musicians. This talented duo performed during the pre-ceremony arrivals, the processional, and the recessional, before transitioning to provide a sophisticated soundtrack for the cocktail hour hosted in the venue’s picturesque sunken garden.
As the night progressed and the focus shifted toward full-scale celebration, the musical programming evolved dramatically. Emily and Corey curated a soundtrack designed to capture a specific nostalgic energy, featuring catchy mid-2000s party hits. As the night deepened, the atmosphere intensified further, with heavy-hitting dance vibes taking over as the official after-party kicked off inside the estate’s temple structure.
Special Detail
Among the many personalized elements woven throughout the day, one particular installation stood out as a defining visual and experiential highlight. Knowing they wanted to incorporate something genuinely unique and fun onto the dance floor that simultaneously tied into their broader paper goods design, the couple worked closely with Kristina at Red Revelry.
Kristina designed the suite of stationery items, establishing a vibrant visual theme that culminated in an epic, bright orange tiger-printed dance floor. The striking design was expertly fabricated and installed on-site by Doremi, creating a bold focal point that encapsulated the playful, disco-infused spirit of Emily and Corey’s unforgettable French Riviera wedding.
