Fortunate enough to secure the baker for their wedding, the couple opted for a dual-dessert approach. The decadent chocolate confection was such a hit that attendees were inquiring about it for days following the event. In keeping with the wedding’s botanical theme, the simple yet elegant exterior of the cake was adorned with orchids as a direct nod to the bride’s bouquet, alongside a playful sugar likeness of their dog, Harvey.

His likeness appeared at the bar and on the wedding cake. In another departure from convention, the bride chose her three brothers to serve as her men of honor. Describing them as her best friends for life, the siblings delivered speeches during the reception that were widely praised as some of the best of the evening.
